Suspension
No
matter what you drive, your
vehicle’s development engineers were faced with
considerations that ultimately
affected its performance – bumper heights, snow
chain
clearance and the number
of people the vehicle was designed to carry. To
accommodate all of
those
variables, your car’s suspension had to be tuned for
average
conditions,
acceleration, braking and cornering. But if you’re
not
average, you may want
to tune your vehicle to better match your driving
style.
When it comes down to improving your vehicle's
handling capabilities,
investing
in suspension upgrades is the best way to go.
Whether it's
shock absorbers, lowering springs, anti-roll bar
kits, or strut braces,
all
vehicles leave the factory with room for
improvement.

Tuned Suspension Systems (return

From
the manufacturer chosen by BMW
Motorsport as original equipment for the
M3 comes the suspension chosen by UUC
Motorwerks as the Ultimate for
all 3-series BMWs. SACHS Performance
dampers are simply the best
combination of Sporting performance and
reliability for the 1992-2004
3-series.
Where other "sport" or "race"
suspensions fail is where many
enthusiasts use their BMW: on the
street, resulting in harsh ride
characteristics and even a decrease in
road holding from excessive
lowering or poor damper/spring
calibration. The typical harsh ride of
many aftermarket options is specifically
caused by incorrect
compression/rebound settings in the
dampers (shocks and struts) and
inappropriate rate/height design of the
springs.
SACHS Performance Suspension give your
BMW a strong injection of
motorsport racing technology while
maintaining street comfort.
OEM design sophistication results in
performance without the
bone-jarring ride of some other "street"
suspensions.
The Tuned Suspension System is
TUV-approved, assuring 100%
compatibility with your vehicle.

Eibach
Pro-System (return to top)
Their
logo
may read Eibach Springs, but they’ve become
“The Suspension Company.” For years, Eibach
has
been known as a leading developer and
manufacturer of sport springs for
driving enthusiasts. But more recently,
Eibach has expanded its product
line to include Pro-Damper Sets (high
performance struts &
shock absorbers matched to the
characteristics of their Pro-Kit sport
spring sets) and Anti-Roll Kits (high
performance anti-sway bars).
Once you’ve decided you want sport springs,
the Eibach
Pro-System is the next logical step in
achieving additional suspension
performance. The Pro-System kits are
designed by Eibach’s
team of suspension engineers and ride
control experts to offer great
street performance without sacrificing much
ride quality. With the
Eibach Pro-System installed, the vehicle is
lowered (typically around
1-1/2 inches) as you improve the vehicle’s
turn-in response,
reduce its understeer and experience more
ride control without
sacrificing much ride quality.

H&R
Sport Springs (return to top)

H&R's
simple philosophy, "build the best, and
the rest will follow," has
resulted in world-wide success. Their
racing experience —
supplying the World Championship-winning
Porsche and AMG Mercedes teams
— gives them an edge in suspension tuning
and design.
H&R Sport Springs are designed and
engineered for each
particular application and are the correct
spring rate for low
aggressive looks, high performance
handling and no ride harshness.

KW
Coilover Suspension Systems (return

Evolving
from
a history of worldwide racing dominance, KW
has developed the
ultimate automotive performance suspension
systems. The only
system to survive New England
winters, the highest quality materials are
used to produce individual
suspension solutions that enable customers
to adjust vehicle height
according to their wishes and needs. Within
the TÜV-tested
adjustment parameters, this can be easily
achieved using the
purple-colored aluminum spring collars by
adjusting the position of the
yellow coated springs upwards or downwards
via a specially designed
exterior thread. In doing so, the vehicle
height can be precisely
adjusted, and customers receive exactly the
result they want and/or
need. The stainless steel strut housings are
fitted the specific
vehicle, and are available in three
different damping technologies.
With this variety, KW Coilover suspensions
in Variants 1, 2 and 3 can
meet the exact requirements of every
customer.

UUC
StrutBarbarian (return to

|
Several
features make the UUC Motorwerks Barbarian
strut tower brace unique:
Magnesium alloy construction with grade 12.9
stainless steel bolts;
Strength: the StrutBarbarian bar section is
tubular for strength
comparable or greater than solid bars;
Light weight: the entire StrutBarbarian
weighs approximately 2lbs
(compare to other bars upwards of 10lbs.+);
The Barbarian uses no pivots or heim joints
and is therefore a truly
functional structural device. To resist
bending and torsion that reduce
effectiveness, pivots and heim joints are
avoided.
